X-Rays are requested by the doctors on the computer, and this has gone through (normally later that day), you can call their appointment line on: 01244 363043 Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 12 noon or 2.00 pm – 4.30pm.
You can then organise your X-Ray appointment, which might be at the Countess of Chester Hospital, or Ellesmere Port Hospital.
X-Ray Results
The report from your X-Ray (which is produced by a specially trained doctor, a radiologist), is normally sent to the surgery between 2 – 4 weeks after your X-Ray.
It is important to remember to phone to check your results, unless you have an upcoming appointment in which to discuss them.
If the report is available, then our receptionists may be able to read out a comment from a doctor that summarises the results. If you are making a doctors appointment to discuss the results – please check that they are actually available before your appointment.
