Dispensary
We are able to dispense medication from our surgery to patients who live more than a mile from a chemist. The prescription charge is £8.80 per item (as for all chemists). Exemptions apply, please ask when you collect your medications if these might apply to you.
There is a charge for all private prescriptions (e.g. malaria tablets, erectile dysfunction medication, just in case antibiotics). If you are a dispensing patient you will be charged for the cost of the drugs and the dispensing costs. If you take the private prescription to a chemist you will be charged in the same way.
