The New Webpage for Kellsall Medical Centre

coch

The Trust currently offers a walk in facility for patients to have their bloods taken and has online booking system so that patients’ can book a date and time that is convenient to them to have their blood taken.

Traditionally patients needing to access to the phlebotomy service have had very little control over when they will be seen and how long they will have to wait. Because of this many patients turned up well before the clinic is open and the waiting times can be unpredictable and lengthy. Those requiring fasting blood tests can find it difficult to be seen in the morning.

This online booking system enables patients to plan their appointment and provide them with more flexibility to fit their blood test in and around their commitments such as childcare or work.

This service can be accessed from the main page of the Countess of Chester website – www.coch.nhs.uk – or directly at www.coch.nhs.uk/blood-test-booking
